<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">His name was Rick and he leaves a wife and two children.Police said a sport utility vehicle struck the motorcycle around 4 p.m. on the 11600 block of Hamilton-Cleves Road.
The driver of the motorcycle, who has not yet been identified by police, was killed.
The crash remains under investigation.
I HATE SUVs.

For all of those of you who hate, hate, hate motorcycles, please know that Rick always wore all protective gear. When he was killed by the SUV driver, he was in leathers and wearing a helmet.
I?m sad about this but also pissed off.
Rick is the second person I know that has died in a motorcycle accident and both were wearing a helmet. Hell we could ware flashing red lights on our heads and yellow reflective vests and idiots in cages would still not see us.
The danger is not what a rider is or is not wearing; the danger is the distracted driver. The idiot was probable eating a Big Mac, dialing his cell phone and masturbating all at the same time.
Gotta be aware of those on bikes, a 1 + ton car is pretty much gonna come out of any collision with less damage and less chance of personal injury.
Who's the wedding couple?
My husband was technically dead when he was 20 yrs old - the result of a motorcycle accident. A car made a left in front of him and he flew 30 feet and landed on his head. The doctors were waiting to harvest his organs but I guess God decided it wasn't his time. Thankfully.

Lake, the pic is of Dr. and Dr. Camerino on Marco Island where they were married in June. (Bob's son Anthony got his doctorate last year and Jen is doing her residency in Houston.)
God bless that Mr. Lake came back from the dead.
